The company was founded in Pesaro in 1946, thanks to enthusiasm and initiative of Umberto Cardinali, who opened an artisan workshop in “Via Morselli”, in the city center. It recently began rebuilding immediately after the end of World War II. Bicycle, this easy and popular means of transport, is a symbol of the desire to start again.
Adriatica trademark is message of optimism: a sail explained on a blue sky where the gulls fly. It is simple image that reflects the places where the company was raised, an active land, whose development model will be universally recognized.

In the 1970 Cardinali gave the company to Luigi Domenicucci (photo), an expert mechanic cyclist, who is continuing to work with perseverance, professionalism and good business sense. For over 20 years the production is done in the new plant of “Via Toscana”, in the Pesaro industrial zone.
Cicli Adriatica today produces a wide range of bicycles for men, woman and child, and the traditional sports. The use of special alloys has recently start in the design and implementation of ultra-light bikes, real jewels of design and mechanical perfection, under the brand name identifying “Wing”.
